Im sure you can call the different yards and ask. They should have an inventory and can give you a price.

Once it cools down we should get a few people together for a junkyard run. Might be fun with the competition/help

Was at the new pick and pull this weekend. www.houstonpullyourpart.com They have both parts your looking for, and are also having a 1/2 price sale this weekend, and there regular prices are cheaper than LKQ.

I thing there is a offroad park in Sugarland. I know for sure there is one in crosby, splendora, and 2 in huntsville. Where you at in houston? If your anywhere around BW8 or the toll road look for mine, its a white xj on 6.5" lift.

I need a couple of good techs over here at Just Brakes in Bearcreek. Must have your own tools, ASE certified is a plus. If interested email me at txz0603@yahoo.com

Default F>R coil swap

Hope all is well in the wheeling world.

Question:
I know people do this swap using stock front springs swapping them to the rear for a way to lift the rear and buy new front springs. What if I use my 3" front springs and move them to the rear? How much lift could/would that give me?

Hi, 2000 XJ 2" OME 30's
I am looking for a place to get it aligned. I installed the lift and a new steering dampener. I want to do the work but went to a little tire alignment shop and they did not do castor... yada yada. I am looking for a good place to take it for an alignment.
I have lived here for ever, I can figure out where the place is if you you guys can help me a out a bit.

Can you do all the adjustments needed for the lift and have shims for castor? BTW can you balance my tires also?

Default New to Houston and New to Jeeps

Hey everyone. I'm Mike. Pretty new to Houston (I'm in the Conroe area). Just bought my first 2 Jeeps in the last few weeks. Bought my wife a 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo a few weeks ago, then last week my truck died and I needed something quick and cheap so I picked a 1988 Cherokee Patriot. I am loving both vehicles. The 2004 a little more at the moment since I changed out the battery in my 88 and now it won't start (it was before just fine). Anyways I just wanted to stop in and say hello since I'll probably be on here a lot. I'm by no means a mechanic but I try as much as I can to solve my own issues since I'm poor, lol. If anyone is around the Conroe area and wants to drink beer and kick around my tires feel free to give me a shout.

Good to have you Mike. Stay on here enough and you will be able to do a lot more work on yours jeeps than you thought, that's how it was for me. Id love to have some beers but I am in Pearland, a bit far.
