hey guys!! i live in the bluff, right by the hanger barber shop. drive down the street and stop at the house with the liberty, cherokee, and two older bmws and say hi.

i have alot of friends who are 4x4 guys so we kind of go out in calallen and such and are starting to plan a trip to central texas to go 4xin in real places, not sand lots.

if you guys want to get together, pm me and i'll give you my number so we can get a bbq or something up. i am also part of a liberty club too and they come down twice a year with a couple of liberties to camp.

also, my wife's family is from brownsville so we go down there alot. so if your from south south texas, we can do stuff too

I heard that the blue angles are going to be up your way this month in Kingsville that should be something to see. We had the CAF this weekend at the brownsville south padre island airport. Bascally the same show as every year but they were missing the B-17 this year. But all in all it was still a good show. The ZJ still has some issues to be delt with though before I can wheel it but as soon as some extra $$$ comes in I can get it on the road soon.

we see the blue angels pretty regularly, i work on naval air station corpus christi. whenever they are in town, we get front row parking and into the show for free. (also, my house is right off base so i can sit in the driveway and watch the show too)

i like the caf, some friends work with those guys to keep the planes flying. my friend mike is the treasurer for them and another friend neal is one of hte old school mechanics who knows all the planes inside and out. both are A&Ps and do their part in the maintenance. they are always looking for people to help so if you are interested, stop by sometime and talk to someone.

I had a press pass one year and shot up about 50 rools of film at the show and they are still using some of the photos from what I heard. I really do not have much time to get involved but it is still fun to watch. even if I do not go to a show I can still watch it from my back porch. Right now my foces is getting my daughter through pre-med and med school, lot of $$$. The ZJ is my little stress remover, although sometimes it adds some. most of the work on it I do myself such as the roof rack and light bar I also found a shop that is cheap and does good work across from the airport on Boca Chica. Put the lift kit on for 100 bucks compared to 700 from jaimes and red barn. next time your down this way I recomend whelling behind boca chica beach in the south bay area as it is faily good more than just sand and mud. I would like to get up to barnwell sometime as I heard it was real cool to wheel there.

wow, keep on her to finish. great job on her getting where shes at right now.

on boca chica across from the airport? i thought that was all housing? its been years since i was on that side of town. my wife's family lives off palm down by the old amigoland mall. also an aunt and uncle who lives by the sunrise mall in the newer homes before you get into the golf course neighborhood right behind the mall

sure. and i have a couple of other jeep buddies here in town too.

there is a parts jeep in your neck of the woods for 300 bucks. its an 85 with 4.10 gears in the diff and is complete minus the wiring harness. the o2 sensor wire got wrapped around the driveshaft and yanked out part of hte harness and hte guy never fixed it.

i'll look to see if i still have the guy's phone number, if your interested
