Yes barely made it. I was going to try and meet back up with you but I got lost for a for a good 2 hours lol. finally at around 11 I ended up back at the top of loose rock. Met this cool ex army guy that knew the whole park and showed me around.

Im going again on the 28th of September. Hit me up if your gonna be there or if you need any help modifying your Cherokee like those unibody stiffeners.

Ya I've already researched that kit but I'm gonna get an 8.8 first with locker. That lip at top of loose rock looked pretty wicked. I found a trail kinda close to loose rock that was a nice climb but kinda short. Next time I'm gonna try some level 5's cause im getting bored with the 4's. if I can't make it ill just winch it i guess. That was the 1st time I got to use my lights in a year

Fellow central Texans, I've got a pair of brand new, stock height leaf springs with bushings for sale. See the Craigslist ad here:

Pm me here or reply to the ad and let me know you're from CF and I'll cut the price a bit.

EDIT: SOLD

Have a set of 4 35x12.50x15 Goodyear Wrangler MTRs (old tread design). Not a ton of tread left, but could be used for a short period of time, or they would make great trail spares. I live in Jonestown, which is near the Cedar Park - Leander area.

$25 each or $75 for all 4.

Howdy to all the Atx XJ owners out there on CF. I'm a huge noob to the forum and to owning an XJ. My names Mike and I'm in the San Marcos area. I just recently purchased a 1996 Cherokee sport 4x4 4.0L. She's bone stock (for now) but she runs nicely. I'm looking to do a few things, 3" full leaf pack kit (possibly rustys), aftermarket front and rear bumper, roof rack, and some other things along the way. Keeping it a DD Jeep, but would like to go mudding and do some small trails, nothing huge though.

I've done probably two weeks of reading up on kits, parts you need to replace when you go 3 inches, etc. Like I said, I'm extremely new to everything, including working on the vehicle itself - and my supplies to work on my Jeep are limited.

I'd really like to be able to do my own work on my jeep in the future and I'd like to meet people on here who have the knowledge and a helping hand in showing me some stuff.

Take it easy y'all.
