I am recently new to Austin and to wheeling but I've got a rig that runs and a buddy who knows a few spots we're supposed to take a trip to a ranch round here in a couple weeks sorry I dont know specifics but there are places to go.

I'm in Austin but don't know of any places where you can legally romp around. Only thing I can think of is to drive out to Marble Falls and visit Hidden Falls Adventure Park.

They have trails for just about any vehicle. Check them out online. They rate the trails which go from "anything will work" to "only fully built rigs and expect some damage"....
