hi guys i have question i sold my jeep yesterday to a guy who was station here in the navy base in illinois. i sign the title and we made a bill of sale and both signed. he texted me today and said he wants a copy of my driver license to prove that i am the previous owner of the jeep because he's registering to the state of louisiana. this is too sketchy for me i never heard of anything like this before. im a long resident of illinois and i dont know if louisiana law are same as illinois or not. is this guy telling the truth?
