Default MN Rust Repair?

I have an '88 Wagoneer Limited I'd like to keep for another 15 years, but rust is threatening to cut my time short. I have the usual XJ trouble spots - lower rear quarters and rockers.

Can anyone make recommendations? Ideally I'd like to find someone who has experience with our platform.

They make a spray that you can spray on rust and it stops it .. most Auto Parts stores have it.. but the only way to repair rust the right way .. is cut it all out.. and replace with new metal.. and that can cost quite a bit if you have to pay someone to do it.

agree cut and remove. Rockers and quarters don't do much structurally. I'd check the floor pans (front). They are common spot as well. I just had to cut mine and weld in some sheet metal I had layin around. Painted it with undercarriage rattle can. Figure if it last another 20 years I'm good. Since by then gas won't be around we will all be in flying cars hahahaha
