Bismarck, I am game is there any place to go up in Minot? Planning on doing the black hills later this year, nice to have company you up for it?

XJ Eric 05-10-2013 11:48 PM

A trip would be awesome. Well have to convince the wife to spend the money first though. Lol

Bugout, which one do you drive? I've been here about three weeks now, and I see more and more XJs all the time. Big lifted ones too

NODAK 98 XJ 05-20-2013 12:06 PM

Green Four Door Sport with 35" BFG's with red ring Champion beadlocks. and Skyjacker 6" lift.

I know a bunch of fellow xj guys/girls here in Fargo!

Fischer1399 06-03-2013 05:50 PM

Another one from the Bismarck/Mandan area.

XJ Eric 06-03-2013 11:18 PM

Cool! The list grows. Keep spreading the word.

BugOutBoy91 06-04-2013 05:31 PM

xj eric yeah man i drive a 99 orangeish red Cherokee sport just did a lift and haven't driven it to much here lately i broke the bolts that hold the bar pin for the shock strut in the rear body. as well as one of the bottom bolts to the axle for the shock strut. so i hate riding around getting sea sick with no shock struts haha. but stock rims and tires nothing but the lift just yet just got stationed up here in December so still trying to settle in an money is still little tight

XJ Eric 06-04-2013 06:54 PM

I understand that! My upper bolts broke off too. I had to drill them out and put in nuts and bolts. I've seen lots of XJs around here. There was a red (ish) one by Walmart with a emergency light bar on the roof. There's a another black one and a dark blue one rolling around too.

BugOutBoy91 06-05-2013 06:09 AM

yea there's bout 5 or 6 jacked up xjs on base, now including mine. =) I'm just starting, not trail ready just yet but soon we will have to get together find some places to trail ride

themirror666 06-05-2013 10:27 PM

same here lol, I just got done bastard packing my springs and putting in bar pin eliminators, broke the lower shock mount off and one of the top bolts in the upper mount....pretty dumb

XJ Eric 06-07-2013 05:42 PM

Anybody know of any wheeling? Although driving around some of these back roads washed out with all the water seem pretty gnarly. You could almost call that wheeling! There anywhere between Minot and Bismark worth doing a meet and greet?

themirror666 06-08-2013 02:19 PM

gotta be really careful with the minimum maintenance roads, depending on where you are you could get a pretty hefty fine and a tow...if they can get to you, lol just a friendly warning, they've printed articles in the forum and in GF I think too
