Welcome aboard stoned, your a ways away and Im not sure where to wheel out there. Tuttle Creek is outside Manhattan and KS Rocks is down near Fort Scott. Tuttle is 3 hours from hays, ks rocks would be a good 5 hours or so.

I've been a few times, and yes there are a lot of ledges to climb if you can! There is a lot of other good trails to ride as well it's worth going to IMO.

At tuttle its free to get in and theres no waiver. They are also open most week days Im told. KS rocks is only open weekends but they also have big events. At ks rocks you must sign a waiver and pay to get in ($15).

Yes. Sun up to sun down.

It may be unofficially closed if there is an organized event going on. It's not that you won't be allowed in to the park, but the hundreds of rigs out there make it a royal pain to get around. This only happens a few times a year.
