So i'm starting a new project on the heep and it requires me to take my hitch off.
I put the impact on the mounting bolts and all of them just spun in place. So I took the rear bumper off to get inside the unibody... and not only did they (Who ever installed the hitch) not use nut-strips... but after they bolted the hitch to the frame they just threw the nut-strips inside the frame not attached to anything...
On the good side... that should eliminate some rattling in the rear of jeep.
Just thought I would share.
