No luck so far, 2 of the 3 people that wrote me just copied my post and sent it to me, not sure what that means. The 3rd guy recommended Ks rocks, how is that local to joco?
Not sure what that means either. And I would have told the guy that said ks rocks thanks but we already go there but it's not affordable every week. So hence why we are lookin for a local spot.Originally Posted by straightsixjeep

I like the spot we go to at the moment. For the KC area, it's a great spot. It's obviously not "our spot" since we don't own it, and with that in mind I think there's a couple things we can all do differently while we're out there.
First, quit doing donuts in the grass field at the hill climb. Not only does this tear up the grass out there, but one tire dipping into the wrong trench in the ground could quickly cause a Jeep to flip. These are not low center of gravity sports cars we're riding in, they're top heavy, have no sway bars, and can roll quite easily. I know if I owned land, I wouldn't want people spinning donuts all over the one area that has decent grass growing. Keep that area nice, not only to keep landowners happy, but also to have a place that's not a mud pit when its wet out to hang out at. Also makes for a great area for camping.
Second, take your trash out with you. If I drink a water or have a snack, I throw my trash in the cooler. As a landowner I wouldn't want to come out and find cans, wrappers, bottles, or anything else scattered around from people that didn't want to deal with it properly. Also if you see other trash, throw it in the jeep and pack it out with you. There's really no reason to trash the areas that we are fortunate enough to ride at.
Basically it comes down to respecting the place we're at. "Tread Lightly" as people say. Pack your trash, be reasonable when it comes to destorying the property you're on, and drive in a manner that's safe to everyone around. If you respect the property that we wheel on, I can guarantee the owners will be happy to let people continue doing their thing rather than the "enforcement" we've seen lately.

I agree with that. We go trail seeking constantly out in Missouri closer to home and beside maybe some tire tracks, land owners should never even know that we were on their land because we don't run over trees, bushes, or anything that can harm the property. I think besides some holes already established and open hills to climb we should try not to alter the lands as best possible.Originally Posted by zimdogg

Trail blazing is fun lol. But I'd say we just hold off on blazing until it cools down. No one uses the land up there, but I do agree with Mike that we should take it easier on the flat area there because it really is the only nice, smooth place left out there. I don't think we need to stop blazing, just stop tearing up what is actually nice out thereOriginally Posted by thebaconator
