Flexplate replacement (Nebraska)
Alright guys, this is my first post on the Cherokee Forum!(I'm very active over on Reddit's XJ forum) I got a lifted 2000 Cherokee w/ 240,000 miles, bought it bone stock. My Jeep has had a pretty bad knock for quite a while and I'm about 90% sure it's coming from the flexplate. Here's a youtube video I filmed of the knock
Up to this point I've done ALL the work on the jeep myself, but in the winter I have some rough times, I don't have anywhere to work on my Cherokee and it's cold as hell outside.
I took my XJ to the shop and they want $500 to fix my flexplate IF that's my issue.
Would any of y'all be interested in fixing it for cheaper? The knock is kind of starting to annoy me and for all I know we might just have to torque down the bolts..... hell it might not even be the flexplate at all.
added a bonus pic of the Jeep.
