I'll be there pending the new jeep is driveable. Still have tons to do and hardly any time to do it. Front end is getting buttoned up tomorrow, engine will hopefully be mostly in tomorrow. Monday will be rebuilding leaves and pulling rear axle. Tues will be installing new axle. Trimming fenders on Thursday and Friday I'll be buttoning up loose ends and taking the old shell to the scrappers. Break in drive will be on the way to KS Rocks. I'm going to be a trail guide for the 33" tired unlocked group so I pretty much have to be done by then.
Wish me luck.

Well I didn't make it and still working on it. Ended up at about 7" of lift and now the drive shaft yolks are catching. I started to pull one of the tcase crossmember bolts and it broke off. I have now dealt with a broken leaf spring bolt a very stubborn shock bolt and now this... I'm ready to be done with this and get wheeling.

I live in Manhattan but I'm from Frankfort, KS. I know a ton of great places around Frankfort to go wheeling, I just recently took my XJ down one of my favorite places called Miller's Bottom, it's a real ****ty road that has a low water bridge then a really sharp hill, lots of fun cracking ice running through water then hitting that slope, good ****!
