thanks man it was alright, went out to jordan to pick up a sub i found on CL, 15" Kicker CRV, was driving home when the temp climbed to 215 and the VIC said low coolant, so i pulled over, popped the hood and the radiator cap had popped off and spewed coolant everywhere. so i called up some people, everyone at work, my good buddy ended up driving 20 miles, picked me up a cap and coolant and we got her going. i just wasnt prepared, was wearing a hoodie, jeans and tennis shoes. couldnt feel my toes by the time he got there haha, oh well. now trying to figure out the wiring for the HU on the zj..i will only play the radio..hmm..

also, got this sweet LED foldable work light from the gf, its magnetic so it sticks to the underside of the hood, its sweet! got hatch struts and rear window struts from my mom, 4 6.5" kicker speakers from my bro, some undershirts, a gas card and a little blade mcx2 r/c helicopter! it was a good bday!

 

My ****in truck gelled up tonight. Great time screwing with that when its below zero...

 

haha sounds like fun my buddy that was gonna tow my xj to duluth this weekend got laid off and his tranny is slipping pretty bad in his 99 cummins. so were just gonna go up in the zj (gf and i) to see her dad and family this weekend. still got to get the stereo all figured out and put back together for the trip haha

Hope you get your truck figured out Austin, I was talking to a guy in Cherry who had some pipes freeze up under his trailer house, guess its been f'in cold up there. Not bad at all in duluth today, nice and sunny most of the day but still a little nippy.

 

What wires you need help with? I've installed, uninstalled mine enough that I can do it in about 10 mins now.

 

thanks man haha yeah ill let you know next time i come up for fun. gonna be pretty crunched for time on saturday and sunday. as soon as we get up there were going to my gf's dad's for Christmas and just hang out and chat, gotta help him with his dakota and then were going to her grandma's to spend the night. then sunday were going to the lakefront..never seen lake superior in the winter so that will be interesting..gonna get together with some friends from high school at the U and then head back home in time to get to bed to wake up at 5 the next day haha

 

i got the tuner to work so i can listen to the radio but on CD and AUX mode, it doesnt play anything..the face plate says it does but it wont even make the beep like its changing modes until i go to tuner. idk if the HU is bad or what

 

i will be coming back north from Zimmerman/Princeton area with an empty trailer in the next couple weeks...

It was only 2 below last night. ****ty fuel.

 

idk how i would get my jeep there..probably would be cold driving with no windshield, doors and hatch on the freeway

 

Tell your buddy to look up Jags pro truck shop online about his tranny issues. His name is Josh and he's outa Zimmerman. Excellent work.

 

Didn't hapeen to get it from the old Little Joes station by L&M did ya? Worst place to get fuel in the winter/ or anytime really. Has lots of water in it.

 

ill tell him, he has a rebuild kit for the tranny just hasnt put it in yet

 

Fuel was from holiday. Rebuild kits are like locking a Dana 35 and running 37s and traveling to Johnson valley for a ride and expecting to ride all week with no problems! Needs a new torque converter too I'll bet.
