Default Trails open for snow wheeling...........

Any good recommendations on some fun trails for snow wheeling that are open this weekend?
Preferably within a couple hours of Denver................
I hope to go wheeling tomorrow with a buddy of mine.

The trails in Idaho Springs area are usually opened year round. I know some guys that go snow bashing all the time. Also check out Slaughterhouse.

Default We ended up wheeling Slaughterhouse............

I wanted to try Twin-Cone, but it was closed....................So we went over to Slaughterhouse.
There was plenty of deep snow in the areas with lots of shade....
It was really hard packed, and tough to get through.
Ended up having to winch a couple times.. It was a gorgeous day to be out wheeling, and we had fun!

Looks like it was a nice day out for wheeling. I know a group is going up there this weekend. My xj is almost ready to hit the trails again. Just got my tires in today, wheels came in last week. Just need to finish my shackle box install. I would have finished but broke one of the bolts so need to take my bumper off to get in there. Hope to get the last part done on Friday and possible brake lines.

What part of Denver are you in.
