Default Shooting up North

So, I was terribly spoiled having Left Hand to shoot and wheel at roughly 10 minutes from my parents house, but with all the dumbasses constantly lighting the canyon on fire this season as well as me living in Fort Collins now, I need somewhere new to go shooting... Does anyone up north have suggestions? I'd like to avoid the range, just toss my stuff in the Jeep and drive somewhere (like Left Hand). Nothing outrageous for now, just some .22 fun, shotguns, and pistols..

You can shoot in the National Forest, as long as you are safely shooting away from any roads, or trails, and it's not marked no shooting. Please pick up your trash when you are done though!! I know it should go without saying, but it can't! People are simply ruining the hobby for all of us!! It sucks!! Sorry, end rant...have fun!! I love to shoot!!

I appreciate it, I did some searching but it didn't reveal much on state and national parks. I always clean up my mess best I can.
