Hey all,

My name is Todd and just getting back to the XJ scene. When I moved out to CO a couple years ago, I had a '91 XJ that I had built up nicely. I ended up selling it in order to get what I had been wanting for a while...a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Well, after spending way too much money tricking it out, I realized it was an expensive play toy to have out banging around in the rocks. So, I sold it and picked up a clean '92 XJ to build up. I'm glad to be back in the Jeep fold again!

congrats and welcome. i had a tricked out 4runner w/ARBs, but still no flex. Way too much $ into it as well. so here i am.

Last fJ40 cruiser crowd I ran into was with my friend Rick as we ran Wheeler Lake in sept 2011 . Rick and I were just cresting the 2nd rock obstacle and along came the most CLUELESS group of about 20 rigs I've ever seen on a trail , as they proceeded to park about 20 rigs right infront of us and run 1 rig down the obstacle while running 1 rig back up the opposite side of the obstacle...OVER AND OVER ...all while leaving the vehicles parked in the middle of the trail for 2+ hours making it so Rick and I had to sit at that 2nd obstacle watching their rigs struggle near flopping and lifting tires on a nothing obstacle for 2+ hours . Those FJ40s were lifting tires and near flopping on something you shuld not even lift a tire on ,but yet running 33-35's they were struggling to get it done without major incident ...WEAK SAUSCE...those guys think they're pushing the envelope running up/down the gate-keeper at spring creek ...lol.
