We are going to be going up to estes park on sunday and doing Pierson park road.
This will be my first ever run, hopefully we can get a good group together and have a fun time.
There is also an autumn festival going on in estes park this weekend so there is plenty to do all day.

I was just getting ready to post Pierson park road for a vote... lets do that one. It says 3 hours of a trail ride so to start at 8:30 to 9am would work well.
There is a brown building at 66/36 and fish creek road we can meet. it is on the east end of lake Estes to the south of 66/36. Looks like a hotel/motel.
I'll be in a Black 96 Cherokee with Spyder markings and a roof rack.

Well..........
My going was relying on getting my lift on jeep this week.... and.... looks like that is not going to happen. I keep running into more and more and more issues.
So looks like I wont be able to make it. Unless I pull out something amazing when I get off work tomorrow, my XJ is going to be stuck where its at for a bit

Now that I am not stressing about my jeep, I am excited for this run on sunday.
After pulling out the measuring tape, I realized I am probably around stock height on the back, at most an inch higher (it was really sagging before). So I am just going to put my old shocks on, well new ones on that back that were swaped out under ranchos warranty, and worry about my completing my lift next week.
Can't wait till sunday

Had an amazing time running pierson park road today. I am hooking on off roading now! Spyder did an awesome job showing me the ropes and leading through it all, even while he was showboating going down the trail on just 3 wheels
Still pucker a bit thinking about that.

BTW the rating could be increased a bit, Lifted I had a couple technicals that were up there.

Nice job Ski_Junkie... Sorry we didn't get video and more pics of the rigs...
