Yo guys.
Have some squeaking and metal scrapping noise coming from what appears the T-case (mostly when under load at lower rpms). I did fluid change 3 months ago. I did some searching hear and someone mentioned replacing the center bearing in the ujoint coming out of the front of T-case. Has anyone done this ? Is this an autozone part. Hope the T-case is not going cause i have the 242 and will have a hard time finding one.
Thanks, Chris

I would recomend getting it rebuilt (roughly 200$) Or getting a used driveline from the JY for 35$ and throw some grease in the joints. which ever seams liek abetter option for you. 35$ and 8 bolts is ideal IMO lol

when the CV part of the driveline goes it most likely needs a new ball joint and centering pin on top of the 2 u-joints in it.

Jus about any front drive shaft from a XJ will fit yours, if yours is an auto grab an auto front shaft, if its manual grab a manual front shaft. thats about the only difference.
