i used to do it all the time, 2 or 3 big screwdrivers or pry bars and you can do it, its really quite easy

not really, 35" and larger tires are cake to mount they almost just fall on with a little turn of the tire

Every time I have done it I had to use starting fluid to pop it onto bead. Maybe its cause i have only had 10 and 11" wide rims.
