As for everything else right now, I could not and will not ever pay for a membership on CF for a few reasons. 1. Only.thing the money does is make someone else rich and keep the site going (which is fine BTW) 2. CF does nothing to help our sport, they actually promote illegal wheeling since they don't remove pics or posts of it. And advanced mod seems to be installing cupholders which is ok cause everyone needs a spot for their beer
On a side note! Hey tristin sand hollow awaits lol

If I want to learn more about serious mods outside of installing a camoflauge headliner, what lift do I need to clear 31's or installing clear side markers I go to the other forums. Each forum kind of has a little something different.
I'm also in 100% agreement as far as seeing this site getting some ***** as far as promoting the sport and responsibility more, and dealing with the talk and pics of illegal BS that makes us all look bad. I think it would also be kind of cool if they maybe took $2 of each $5 they're making off this cash cow and threw some dough at organizations helping to keep our trails open as well as maybe throwing a bone to the members in the way of thanks. Afterall, they make the forum.
Thats just my lame *** opinions though, the point is, I have always viewed this forum more as a social forum and from time to time a source to figure out a tech problem. That being said I think it works out pretty well.
I check this thread at least twice a day. I enjoy the people here, and seeing what everyone is up too. Every every every now and then I might check a build thread. But usually only if its one of ya guys. Funny, I just realized I don't check Toyota forums of have joined any of them.
On a side note, I might be buying a Mitsubishi Montero Sport for an Expo rig. I should know by friday if a deal can be made. So 5 mile on Sat or Sun anyone?
