is there a ne plan for the 18th now or is it still af canyon?

 

You: Anything Lagoon can do, Moab can do better.

 

Tune in next week for the pictures from Moab, cameras ready and I got enough batteries to cover the whole weekend. I plan on shooting alot of pics! We'll see if we cant get some good ones. Something tells me we will.

 

if im not mistaken af is closed till the end of june due to trail closures from erosion damage.



for all those that are headed to moab, have a safe trip! jeff we'll be waiting for pics to make the rest of us more jealous that we couldn't go.

so i was looking at rme and found these pics taken 6-6-11 forest lake trail

 

Now you know why I'm single! Job always called for rendezvous in odd places across the Southwest (and parts of Idaho haha). She didn't leave my stuff on the curb though. She left it inside next to all the bills!

Idk mike I think it would be awesome to drive against the river up the trail! If only we could do it without digging ruts... so where are we headed? I need to get outta dodge!

 

Alright I've got the plan... 5 mile, NOT THE SNAKES!

Saturday June 18th 10-10:30am (the day before fathers day)
Meeting at the 4 corners chevron (where redwood road & lehi main street intersect)

We're all sick of lil moab & the snakes, so I figured since AF canyon is closed 5 mile will be a good day of play! There's a couple rock steps, a long mud bog to play in, & top it off by going up to the mine at the top of the mountain! Plus there is a ton of little obsticals to play on. It will be great for any of the stock or slightly mod. guys to push their rig on! If we get done to early we might end up on the snakes anyways...

So who all is up for it???

 

I really want to but I don't think I will have the funds. I will def try.

I dunno i agree i want to get out bad. I might run up af on the quad this weekend to see the trail conditions and snow depths

 

Ya let us know mike! Also talk to rangers, so if we do run it we will be legit. I think it would be way sick to wheel up that trail/river!
