So I went back & searched that post I put on NAXJA, & I didn't need to be so harsh! dudes were being pretty cool... guess I just have a problem with large establishments! hahaha oh well is what it is.

I think another big part of why I didn't care to chill over there was the forums were IMO all over the place & harder to navigate vs this site. Granted the search works, but I could come here & find all the info I need easier do to the smaller boards...

Well, some good came of it...I had hardly heard of Cherokee Forum before reading that post, then came over to see what the dealio was

I guess I should be mad, because since then I spend twice the time catching up on forums . At least y'all get the pleasure of my company, and you can't put a price on that. jk

Is it just me, or has the last page or two of this thread been a little awkward? I got this one...how about that weather? Cold as heck, don't you think? I think I need a body lift on my XJ

no the classifieds are still open, they were just tossing around ideas when you came in. (it took alot of thinking to remember all that)

and it depends. its harder navigate pirate than NAXJA but everything is in forums and sub-forums, just like RME and alot of others. the reason thats done is look at CF, they have stuff really scattered and 500 different threads on 1 subject. granted CF has less sub-forums but if the mods here actually went through and cleaned this up it has potential in that aspect.

the local stuff is all in one place mostly, the IC chapter forum. it of course has a few sub-forums. here the local stuff is all in one maybe two threads(that i have seen) so IMO searching here is harder cause instead of finding a forum with maybe 20 threads to look for something, you have to search 1 thread of 300-500 pages.

IMO stuff is way more scattered here than NAXJA will ever be cause over there people are sorting through and organizing out of place threads daily. here i've noticed people are just post whatever wherever.

and if you want to get into the great tech than yes you'd have to be a paying member, there is more tech archived over there than on any other XJ specific site out there. and a lot of the tech that has appeared over here i've noticed came from NAXJA and it's members.

My cherokee has a body lift... Putting a lift on a unitbody is a body lift right?
