Just a quick question for the manual transmission experts here

Now I find that shifting gear is hard when the jeep is cold... it gets better after sometime driving. Is that something I should worry ? Is it because the gear oil is thicker when you first start then it get a little more fluid and stuff ?

The cold makes mine hard as hell to shift as well but after a couple miles its back to normal only time you need to worry is when its hard to shift during normal driving and also check your manual trans fluid every oil change!!

My Porsche does the same when it's cold. After a few miles it's all better. And I do believe its the oil being cold causing problems.
