make sure you have fluid in there and if it still doesn't work make sure there isn't a leak. if it is all intact and still doesn't work you can bleed the system, it kinda sucks though. hydraulic clutches are not neat for that reason. cables are easy to adjust and whatnot

Hope the throwout bearing didn't get cocked. When I put my Samurai back together it moved just a hair and the fingers got misplaced. I couldn't move it at all.

So jumped to this thread to see if any help available from you guys.
Have a mostly stock (skids, brushbar and orage top injectors added) POS 1990 XJ and really could use some help.
It has several electrical issues and the Flintstone's floor mod.
Mechanically it is good though.
Please email me as not sure forum is working correctly for me.
I'm located downtown SLC btw.
TIA for replies,
Troy

If you can post here, you should be able to post in tech. Its a lot easier to get help in tech or here in the thread than to try and e-mail back and forth.

I'm in complete agreement with Sean, get out and learn now as you build. I'm still learning myself and am glad I dont have a super built monster Jeep, I think its more important to learn to drive first.

x2 this would not be good, but could very well be the problem if the system has been bled , not good!

OK, it's a montage. I cut as much of the fat out of them as I could, and it came down to two uploads. The first has everything up to Mike getting up the wedgie, and the second has Chandler on the wedgie and a couple shots of that last patch.
It should be available to view in about 20 minutes. I will post the link when it is ready, or you can search "floydargue" or "ATR offroad"

In the meantime, check out our old family beast going through the Golden Crack. Listen to that sheet metal scraping the ground, and tell me it isn't awesome
