use vise grips on the ones you can't get the socket on, then after that throw them away and get hex hed bolts. cut your hinges install 1/4" bolts and good to go. took me an hour to do all four of mine.

I should probably use the 1/4 bolts, but I'm just using the OE hinge. It has some rust on it, but still operates good.

I also got all my assist parts tonight... Elliott is asleep and I got yelled at for trying to open them and play with it lol

all mine on the full doors, half doors and tube doors i had were all the factory hinges cut.......

hmmm, I need to dig mine out and finish them... I need hinges first. where the F#$% to find hinges.

well if you wouldn't have bought a newer jeep with them stupid hinges i'd have extras you could have

yeah, the more and more I continue with this thing the more and more i wish I would have gotten an older one lol. oh well, almost have all the kinks worked out!

no haha didn't want to wake him.

not my year.. I have to go pull them myself, ans they are welded to the body on all jeeps

thats wierd, sounds like it would look dumb!

I mean I still have the factory pin in my hinges. Thats what i was referring to. I tried to drill it out, my drill just wasnt making it happen.
