What are you trying to achieve? confused...
Correct me if I am wrong.... but it looks like
ABS axle shaft with the large joints
Large joint shaft no abs.
small joint non abs...

I wouldn't as you never know if you will pull the axle and want to sell it or put a different suspension on it in the future, its in the way so I would just leave it.

Well I got my tie-rod all together and good.
tapped 280 wall DOM, sleeved with 120 wall DOM and welded together
(400 wall DOM )
notched and welded on, then painted... should hold up pretty good! with ruff-stuff 3/4" hiems and safety misalignments
also picked up a 3/8" tube clamp for my tie-rod side ram mount.
Just waiting for the axle side ram mount...

i'm gonna ditch jeeps. i worked on my altima today and i decided i'm gonna get rid of the jeep. i'm gonna drive it off a cliff
