Default New Mexican needs help!

Hey all! I'm from sunny Roswell and having some issues...Roswell has a over abundance of heat and sun, yet only have two JY's that have XJ's in them...I've been to both looking for a rear Dana 44 and one has one (or so he says) and the other doesn't. The JY with it wants $350 for the damn thing. Not too bad of a price I guess, but I don't wanna drop $350 for one and then drop another say $200-$300 for the gears to fit my XJ being it's a 97. If any one of you all run into one (or have one) for a little cheaper than this...can you all let me know of it? I don't travel too much out of town, but can if needed. If I had the time to go to Albucrazy and spend a day in a JY looking for myself...I WOULD! But I'm looking at motel to spend the night and what not if I go that route. I'll be willing to pay a "finder's fee" straight to anyone who can locate a well-priced 44. Thanks guys!

JUSPER!

Great setup for 35s if you ask me. Anything above that though i'd rather run 60/60.

I'd run 37s to 40's I really like that low wagon build tnt did with 5.5" of lift n 37s I wouldnt wanna run anything lower then 37s Because those diffs hang low
But I literally have $0.37 in my bank account and I'm trying to move back up to abq so buying some axles seems impractical

Yeah..may want to hold off on the jeep for a bit then. Though I wouldn't want to go with 40s on a front d44
