I barely could make it up into my neighborhood tonight, and have to go right back to work in 7hrs.

Probably going to be calling in because there is only 3 roads into my neighborhood, all of which are VERY steep and this high up they do not salt the roads. Which means making it up i just used a lot of skinny pedal to break traction in the ice. Tomorrow going down it is going to be a no go. Either the sidewalk or a parked car is going to get hit by me or someone .


P/S lift is in, all parts appear to be here so If i call in i might end up starting it or finishing it by myself.

 

we are at 4" of snow so far and everyone cleared the roads leaving them as icy as hell!

and my super swampers are not the best for icy. good for snow but not for ice haha.

either way I am enjoying the weather. if school is canceled we are going winter wheeling

 

i ended up going in from i40.... at the second cattle guard going in it was roped off!!?!?? with cable and big locks with signs that said private property!?? i was like wtf? but i just drove up the fence line and there was a gate open it was freakin cold! no heater...kept having to scrape the inside of my windshield so i could see. but still good times, just made a bonfire and shot stuff.... never gets old......

 

Friend of mine was escorted out by three sheriffs two weeks back, I guess they are drawing a line on where they want to "allow" people to be on state property.

 

school is canceled!!! we are bout 4-6" snow so I am going snow wheeling!!!

 

snow wheelin in cruces!! sounds like it shouldnt happen from what i remember living there it was 107 in summer and snow wasnt ever in the forcast

I'm stuck in lunas. My Jeep is covered top to bottom in ice from driving everywhere yesterday in the slushy roads. I need to head up to town

Figured I'd jump in. Just got my first Jeep about 2.5 hours ago... I'm a long time car guy, so I may know some of you. Got a few little things to sort out, but it's just too effin cold today to mess with it.
