so i was messing around with my alignment my tow today and was wondering since you dont really have the ability to screw with camber and castor on a solid axle without getting adjustable ball joints or whatnot
has anyone on here gotten anything like that? i myself have used shims in the past but my xj doesnt need anyhting yet and was wondering about this topic???

Yeah mine did it on the street too. Check to see if your u-bolts are torqued down to the proper spec. I don't believe that would have any affect on your mpgs. I'm only getting maybe 200 miles a tank in my xj and I was talking to Derek tonight and that's about what he gets too..

So the Guy I traded my 89 to hit me up today all pissed saying he had to replacement the clutch in it already and feels like I owe him. Hahahaha it was perfectly fine when I had it and it hasn't even been a month. I felt like telling him all the **** that was really wrong with it like the bent front axles housing the gnarly lifter tick how it wont pass emissions and the fact any key will start it hahaha
