Default Looking for legal mudding spots in utah

I need to get out of the desert. I would love to get the jeep dirrty at least for a weekend. Anyone got some good spots within 300 miles of vegas?
the reason I mention legal, is because I had a friend get a ticket in utah for wheeling on someones land.

preferrably a muddy lake bed/trail

Im running 31s, so Im not looking for a full on mud boggin spot

We have mud, just go to the Scipio/Richfield area. Fishlake National Forest.

Ya and get all the trials closed. Or you could stick to rock and real trails.

I wonder if I can get in trouble in a national forest. I'll look into it though.

Im not looking to JUST go mudding, but I am really sick of the desert. I've tackled some great things out here, but without 1000s more in modification, theres only so much you can do out here.

Let me rephrase the question...
Do you know of any trails that arent dusty and dry and hot? better?

it was 95 degress today no humidity. till september. sucks.

To answer your question honestly, 99% of Utah is the same dry and dusty environment your used to.
Utah is not a muddy place, the higher mountain trails from time to time will get a little muddy (spring runoff), we stay off them until they dry up in an effort to halt the possibility of us adding to land erosion. This is an agreement between local Offroad clubs (stewards), and the forest service in an effort to keep our trails open.
For mudding, I think your gonna have to drive a little more south eastern.

And to answer your other question, yeah, Utah is dry and dusty. But the world class wheeling in Moab is worth it!
