Ikarus, if I can get my new shocks put on tomorrow then I'd be up for a quick shakedown / test run up left hand tomorrow afternoon or sunday. I don't know how much I wanna try, but if I can get the shocks on then I really wanna take the Jeep out and try to get familiar / comfortable with it a little before bacon express. Lemme know if you wanna come with. Respond here or text, 3037096008

It's all good, I posted my number so take it for future reference. Also, dunno when you work till but it's looking like tomorrow won't be till afternoon IF I go at all... I've got some other stuff that's gotta happen but I WILL be going to Left Hand, even for an hour or two just to mess around and drive the trail / shakedown. If you guys are off work, shoot me a text. Worst case is I already left / went. If I don't answer, I'm prolly up there haha. I just need to do SOME sort of offroading before next weekend, and tomorrow works out perfect I'm hoping. I'll be starting school Monday too :-/ Have been anxious all summer, waiting and waiting for school to start and now I'm like, oh crap, it's a week away haha

Pretty damn busy up left hand and the trail's getting even more beat up than it was when I had my wrangler.. it's kind of a shame. Went pretty far up before turning back (time constraint). There's so much that's closed off now though, and the playground's gone as far as I could tell

Edit: After reading traildamage and talking to some locals.... They changed it a lot since it was a regular destination of mine.. The playground is no longer there, and they turned the 1 climb out of the old playground into Fireman's hill... There's pretty much no water up there anymore and like I said, the trail's just getting beat up and they're not maintaining it fast enough to keep it from getting thrashed.

I posted in the NoCo thread. This weekend we can try to get out maybe. Even if it's just the two of our rigs.

In about a month I'd be interested in going. Need to get my jeep lifted on new tires.

Hi, Welcome

I live up in Denver just outside the city, I've been riding trails around Keystone, Breck, Vail, even with the snow some are still good quality and a little more interesting. Been tenting some of the 26+ milers just to make a trip of it. Roommate and Dog usually come along and make camp, take the cast iron and do some cooking too. Idaho Springs has some great spots too.
We go out year round and find stuff, most winters theirs next to no snow in nederland and boulder areas but harder trails will come when the winch & lockers are bought.
Hope you enjoy the trails & your more than welcome to join.

Cheers
Kelham
