Yep, me too. I have been riding my MTB to work, and when this crap starts cranking up, it makes for a crummy ride home, to say the least!!

Have you ever noticed that when you are on a bike, you are always pedaling against the wind? It’s like driving through Wyoming, always uphill against the wind.

Yeah. I bought a new road bike late April so been wanting to do nothin but riding. This wind... blows. I have managed to put over 100 miles on it though. Just wish I could ride more. Props to you for riding to work Kyle. How long of a ride? I rode to work Fri. It's about 8 miles, but part of it, is on a very busy street. Dangerous.

You could make it to the rock garden, but have to turn back there. Huge snow drifts.

It's just under 5 miles, one way, so it's nothing that's going to kill me. I seem to get used to riding in to the point that when I drive in, I hate traffic even more!! LOL!! I have a route that I can take that is on very little road, so it's perfect!! My plan is to ride in, and then do my 15 mile lunch time ride. I am lucky enough to have a great trail right behind where I work, and I can put on about 15 miles at lunch. I figure 25 miles about 3-4 times a week ought to do it, well, and a real MTB ride on the weekend!!

That's awesome man. That's alot of riding! I'd like to get up to 100 miles/week. How long is your lunch? It probably takes me over an hour to get 15 miles haha.

I can take as long as I want for lunch, it just delays when I get to leave for the day. It takes about 50 minutes for me to ride the 15 mile loop, with normal wind conditions. LOL!! I try to keep my avg. speed around 16-16.5 mph, sometimes it doesn't happen!! LOL!!
