Last week it was bad, like a constant weed burning in town and at night it got smokey as heck. It's been pretty windy lately so the smoke is being blown out but I think they are fighting the fire pretty down. It's not so bad anymore. The smoke makes the sun look crazy!! Here it's red.

 

That's crazy, hope they contain that soon

 

We have some fires of our own, but not as big as the NM fire!! We need one thing.......RAIN, and freaking NOW!!

 

It rained in NM today!!!! First time in a while!!! And I'm in Cali and I missed it so sad.

Hey COS, Did you get a little rain down there?

 

YES!! Man, we needed it!! Cars were floating around in a local mall parking lot it rained so hard.....funny! Imagine coming out of Hooters, after a few drinks, and *****, of course, and seeing your ride bobbing around in the parking lot!! LOL!! I would go back in, and keep on drinking!!

 

That would be disturbing to see but I would bet my XJ would float like a brick.
I ended up with a little over 2” of rain in Lakewood. Very nice.

 

It was crazy out by my work. I left a little after 10. Once I got home though it started back up. Then at midnight the tornado watch came on tv again
