Naw, buying one of those at JAX will up the price tenfold. I got it on an online auction for $1,666 (call it the devil deuce because of that)


Drove the Cherokee to Norman, OK and picked it up. Just needed the brakes bled before hitting the road....and 8mpg before anyone asks

 

Yeah jax sells them for 14-17k. Kind of pricey.

thanks! right now I got an axle seal leak on the front passenger side. Since mine is an 87, it is the two piece axle with a CAD (central axle disconnect). That one is going to be a to replace.

 

Are those CAD axles high pinion?

 

I think so!

 

I just got done dealing with a rear diff pinion seal, transfer case output, and two U-joints.

Raider better not break again anytime soon.

I'm always down. But for me it has to be done before noon, or on a Sunday. I work afternoons and study nights.

 

yeah I'm in the oil field so mines here and there. Usually weekends are good.

 

Who do you work for? Doing what? I'm trying to get in the oil field but not having any luck.

 

Craigslist (transport) is chok full of oilfield jobs for drivers.....I myself was a medic for Airgas Safety and they took me all over in different states.
