Default Doing Red Cone and Hall Valley in CO this weekend

Doing Red Cone and Hall Valley in CO this weekend. Going to camp at Hall Valley or Jefferson (Aspen Campground) Overflow area. If anyone is interested reply. Going to head there early Friday morning to setup camp and stay till Sunday night, do the trails when the buzz wears off Saturday.

I camped a lot in the Aspen Overflow as a teen, know a lot of sites in it, and theres no charge, as in no facilities. REAL CAMPING! lol

It is, I've been told it's a somewhat easy trail but has a lot of downgrades. It might be raining so I don't know how much we'll get through Red Cone but Hall Valley looks doable in rain. I'm taking my somewhat stock 91, but both trails offer great views and nothing too terrible to work with. Check traildamage.com for more info on them.

Could always do beaver creek road. Its at the same trailhead and is doable in a stock cherokee, mostly a fire road with alot of mud so could be fun in the rain

I was considering that one when I researched these 2, but can definitely add it to the itinerary.
