Hey All,
Just bought some new wheels, and would like to have them powder coated in satin black, but I'd settle for a matte black as well. Any suggestions on where to go? I'm in Boulder, but willing to drive to Denver and Ft. Collins. Spec wheel wants $110/wheel wholesale price, so looking for something cheaper than that.
Thanks!

Powdercoating specialties out in Golden are awesome to work with
http://www.powdercoatingspecialties.com/
They can literally coat anything, from huge dragsters to wheels of course.

I took them down to a place in Arvada, for $75/wheel, give or take a little depending on prep work. When I get them back I'll post a review on what I think. Should be good, a guy I know did his VW R32 wheels down there and the shop was full of all kinds of projects when I went dropped the wheels off.

I took them to BFN Industries Llc. in Arvada. They charged $75/wheel. Went down to pick them up today. Some small Knicks around the hole for the valve stems, but for the price they're great! Spec wheel wanted more than $100/wheel, and most of the other places I checked were $90. It did take them longer than expected, but I wasn't in a hurry so no big deal. Overall, I'd recommend them as a great value. I can't wait to see them with new tires under my Cherokee! ☺☺

Hey thanks for following up with the pictures. I subscribed so I could see how they turned out. Please do me a favor and let us know how they are holding up after the test of time? I will defiantly keep BFN in mind if I ever have the need.

Definitely. They'll be going on the first or second weekend in April, along with upper control arms, upper and lower control arm bushings, front brake lines, new rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, fender 'liners', ball joints, bolt pattern wheel spacers/adapters and 33" BF All-Terrains. Then out to Moab in May for a week! I'll keep you posted.
