The portal boxes do make for very good clearance , and 406 axles are very beefy , But I would not consider an f-350 a superior offroader just B/C the dana 60 front is a desireable axle .

A jeep can barely drive down a gravel road in unmodified form.

I didn't buy my mog solely for its offroad prowess. And mine was missing the merc badge anyway. There is a lot more to unimogs than just the portal axles. Mine had 4000:1 crawl ratio, live hydraulic hook ups front and rear, tractor PTOs front and rear, a 3 point hitch at the back, and a dump bed with a 2 ton load capacity. All in a package about the length of a TJ. My next one will have the backhoe and loader bucket as well as a grader box and maybe a snow plow.

So this seems like an adequate place as any.... anyone know of a place for rent with a 2 car garage. Preferably near buckley but the garage is more important and a standalone house(not an apartment). Im renting a room now but I can no longer use the garage because of his fiancee.... wait untill I bring home a new jeep tomorrow lol. hes going to flip haha. but seriously??

Well I'd like to be able to do some work in there. I dont have any problem storing it on the street but I'd rather have a garage for oil changes etc among what ever else I come across. Its nice to have the ability to work indoors when I want to do something and of course keeps jack stands, some extra oil, stuff like that

Edit: whom I kidding, I want to be able to do whatever I want in it. And I work different shifts so on the months I work nights but have the day off... I'd like to work out there if I wanted to at night.

Started building my new bumper!! Wish I could get a pic with the skidplate but couldn't hold it and take a pic. Obviously I made it stick out way far to accommodate a winch in the future. I also have some tow hooks ready to go on. Just need to get some longer steering box bolts then I can start final bending, cutting, and welding!
