Denver bs thread
Hey guys I have contacted a tool manufacturing company With hopes they can make an oil filter adapter wrench what I need from every body is specific info (pics as well) of what the problem is other than its a PITA to remove. By specifics I mean is what would you like in the tool. They will come back with a quote upon my reply. Any help would be fantastic.

Basically where I am at with this little side project is I have to take measurements between the frame and tell them what specifics us as users would want. For example thin profile, possibly ratcheting, a long handle for leverage, and correct geometry so we do not strip out that T60. They build some very strong tools and a lot for the automotive and the aircraft industry that need high torque and odd shapes.

I bought a cheap set of deep well sockets just for u joints. Set the u joint on some 4x4's or whatever wood you have . Leave a gap for the cap to come out on bottom. Use the biggest socket that fits the cap and tap it out. Did my front knuckle in a hour. Great trail fix too.

The last couple times I experienced similar symptoms it was because the brake caliper had come un bolted. (no, not on an XJ, and neither was my own car, so not my fault)

Yeah dude good point. After wheeling it at left hand, I think selectable lockers front and rear are in order. And definitely need to cut the fenders. My tires bent both quarter panels in the front. And beef up the sub frame. I could feel the whole body twist and when I opened the hatch flexed, I couldn't close it until I unflexed lol.
Nice to meet ya buddy. I'll keep an eye for your jeep and if I make my way to sonic!

Heck yeah buddy. Had a fun time for my first mountain in Colorado! Thanks for the invite. Let me know next time. Like I said above I wanna get lockers, would make a huge difference. But I made it without a pull so were good.

I have access to a welder yes! and a plasma cutter! I havn't actually welded anything worthy or clean but I'm going to start on this jeep. This weekend I want to weld my door hinge on, It's like separating and makes the door sag a tiny bit, which makes the door not close sometimes. Also went to pick n save or whatever it is yesterday , and found a spare tire carrier for the back that swings out for 16$!!
