Hey guys looking for a trans for my 94 zj 4.0. I have a 249 awd. Its shifting hard as hell when u let off the gas but shifts fine when on the gas?? I decided if it does need replaced and am goin to replace it i want to look into either a 231 or 242 t case and trans or just a 42re replacement for cheap. Also thought bout a ax-15 swap for manual but need alot of parts for that. As of now i am looking at whats availible and at cost. If any of u guys got anything to help me out let md know. Options are open as of now

 

I have a tranny for sale. Not sure if the xj will work with you zj though
