its the overflow for the overflow. Its like a tube that comes up the back of the res and dumps on the front. so when the reservoir gets too full, your jeep leaves al gore a present.

But it's not a tube... So I have a reservoir that is for overflow. Only one tube from rad goes to it. A little one. And that's it. It's a mold in the plastic that curves down from the top like a inch and a little hole on bottom of that It makes sense what u say but I believe dirts getting in through that and getting into Coolant. Can I just cover that or what?
