So I think rather than building an entire diff cover, I will either make a half one to go over mine, or plate my stock one with quarter. I just have no way to machine a flat surface for the seal. Might goof around with that tomorrow

So my Jeep started running like the poo on our way out from Bill Moore Lake. It would kinda stuble and when I hit the gas, it felt ike I was hitting a rev limiter at 1200 RPMs.

Pulled the codes when I got back to my shop. I have two O2 sensor codes and a distributor sensor code.

UUUGGGHHH!!! Its always something

I was digging on shifting on the way up(Jeep is super fast), but I reconfirmed that I dont like a 5 speed on the trail. I think I need a doubler, an Atlas, or a Stak t-case for the gearing I want.

Detailed my new to me Jetta yesterday and figured out Im getting 33 MPGs, with the AC on, driving like a rallycross driver! I havent owned a car in 8-10 years, so Im having fun with my little go-cart!

Happy Monday FCers!!!

Its only too tall if your too short!!!!

JK, but I did have a chop top XJ on 12 inches of lift and 37s when I met Dee. Probably the best wheeler I have owned to date. It was soooooooo stable. You wouldnt think so, but it sure was. Here is a pic.....

my jeep left me stranded on rampart rd yesterday. 2 kids and wife. it did the same to me on medano pass a few weeks ago. ran perfect, then died while driving. let cool for 20 mins, then ran perfect again. thinking it's the fuel pump also.

My issue was similar. But it was the fuel filter at the bottom of the fuel pump in the tank. Few bucks to replace. Start there.
