You can do 1/4" if you max the welder. Bevel your edges so you get good about of heat and take your time. May need to do more then one pass as well. Thats what I do with mine. No way can do you 3/4" though. No way

Yes. I would never do suspension or steering work on customers rigs without it....Nor recovery points.

I used a 120v lincoln for years on my own junk.......Worked fine, just left the thick stuff to my buddies 220v machine then.

I was thinking about getting a 220 dc arc welder and run 6010 and 7018 electrodes as I'm getting a lot of practice with that at school and I know it theyre strong. Just have no money, to try and make money

I love my arc welder with the 6010 and 7018 sticks. Ksl ads bro. I picked mine up for $50. The guy threw in $30 worth of 6010 sticks and 7018 sticks. They were no use to him anymore.

Got the shackles remounted, did they add about 3" of lift to your jeep as well? I'm installing the RE 3.5" kit and I've got about 7" of lift in the rear....the jeep is on 31"s and they look out of place.

Right on, will this drop it enough to be in that 4-5" range though? I've read that the RE leafs run about an inch higher than advertised height anyway.

Yeah mine did not add that much lift at all! But then again I have 5.5 inch coils and long arms. Didn't have to relocate though.

Right on, not sure which route to go....different shackles or look into relocating brackets. Will I need to do anything with the bumper mount locations if I run a new bracket?
