I only have a lid at the moment, but it's not the best.
I had some gloves, but I can't find em, and I haven't picked up a jacket yet. Bike needs tires, so I'm trying to prioritize things and approach accordingly, but the bike's parked for a while anyway. I don't have my license yet, and it won't be insured until today. Picked it up Saturday morning and risked riding around no tags, license, etc. saturday getting it back to the Fort. If you have any tips or just wanna talk bikes Alex, hit me up, I'm very green here but excited and wanting / willing to learn. I'm wrapped up in the start of my studying for finals so it's not too distracting not being able to ride. I'll definitely ride as safe as I can to stay alive and get miles under my belt, open to any and all tips / discussion.

Good rider, but he took off his lid to go a few blocks and got into a car accident.
I cringe when I see guys riding w/no lid, or even seen some dudes in shorts and flip flops. WTF. But riding is a ton of fun. You will enjoy it, especially the MPG. Just have to always be on the defensive. And you can always tell who the newbies are, cuz they are riding w/out protection. I had some close calls, but never laid my bike. Lot's of tickets tho haha.. I can't imagine the temptation you are going through to jump on that sled.

4:56 and 35s was no problem, with a 5.9 crate engine.

I don't really miss it though.. Hopefully soon, I can put the xj together.

Good deal. I just wanted to offer some friendly advice bro.

Hey Bish, when you take the test can you post up how it went por favor? I'm planning on getting my license this summer, however I'll be riding my beater old Honda.

Yeah, I'm not going to the DMV though and just taking the test. I'm taking the MSF beginner rider course which, in Colorado, will count as successful completion of everything the DMV needs (written and riding test) to get my license. So as long as I pass the class, I just take the little waiver I'm given, take it to the DMV and get the new license with the "m." Is that what you mean? Or were you talking about just going and taking the test at the DMV
