The 4.3 v6 swap from an inline 4.0 6 puzzles me the most since you accomplish nothing but wasted time/money ...The v8 swap is ok ,but you're almost never going to use it crawling...I'd rather do a diesel drivetrain in the form of a tow rig .

Just do a 4.6 or 4.7 stroker ! Very easy and cost as much as doing a rebuilld on a 4.0!

39.5x13.50 fit easy with front 2-3 forward ...the rear could use 1-inch back ,but my 39.5 fit the rear with mild rub b4 moving axle back and cutting rear of fender ...with coils uptravel greatly imporoved ,and needed axler back 3-inches ...you're doing a fuel cell , so build a traction bar and flip your leafs and buy the 39's ...hell ditch the 44's and buy 42-44's ...lol...you know you're headed that way .

Those ways are only legal in Nevda ... you got Governor Donald Carcieri to thank for that .
