Can anyone give some insight on shocks for the local roads and trails? I was thinking Bilstein 5100s, then I remembered I'm not working cause of my shoulder right now. So now I'm thinking the Rancho RS5000. Anyone have some comments or suggestions?

RE 5.5" w/ 1.5" shackles out back. Has Procomp ES3000 now, fronts are still ok I think but the rears were trash, mainly because of the mount.... I talked to Seth a few times and he suggests the Bilstein 5100s. It'll be a daily driver for now, average trails, not looking to do anything hardcore at all. CO stuff minus the stuff that'll remove paint, body panels, etc.

I'm not looking to have a Caddy ride quality, but I want something comfortable-ish, and something that'll be durable. I have heard Procomp used to have a bad name, but you said in a previous post, somewhere I read it, that they're much better now?

im with seth here, i usually run the procomp es3000 shocks. they are cheap, and seem to last pretty long for the price.
and if seth runs em without issue, you know they are fine!! he beats on his junk and then does it again, for fun.

All these posts are beginning to make me think. I still have my rough country shocks and probably should've got rid of em by now. I was gonna get the es9000s as well
