Yes....? That's why quick disconnects were made... So you can quickly disconnect the sway at the trail head lol. Maybe I'm not answering or understanding your question properly.

I do not believe I have "quick disconnect" sway bars. I would have to get a socket wrench out to take them off unless I am missing something? Should I get a picture?

No, that's OEM. Quick disconnects are aftermarket or custom.... You can disconnect the OEM sway, but like you said, requires some tools and time. With my sways, I pull 4 pins and slip the bar out.... Way easier.

Is your Jeep stock? What kinda lift, size tires, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc... Cause if you remove the sway and have a 5" lift with stock brake lines in stock location, you're gonna be using em as limiting straps which isn't a good idea. As for disconnects, JKS quicker disconnects are popular, you can get em for like $150 new, I have a used set for less than that.

I have a 5.5" Rubicon Express lift with 2" spacers in front and just springs in rear. 32'' tires. It has extended break lines in the front and rear and iron man off road long arms with a custom transfer case crossmember (dunno if you need that info)

But my sway bars are short... at least shorter than others I have seen in vehicles that have less of a lift. They are i would say less than a foot but I haven't measured them.
Let me know if you need more info.

I am in arvada,CO so something somewhat close would be better.

Thanks
What part of Arvada? Live there as well, there are some pretty easy trails by idaho springs/St. Mary's. Could take a look at your disconnects for you and help out if needed
