I need a couple things for my 96 4.0 XJ... changing my ring/pinion for 4.10's is the big one. I'm wondering if I can get it done for a reasonable price. High Country Performance has a good rep but they want about $1800 for the swap. Are there any other shops in the Denver area you'd recommend I look into?

The other job is having a ball joint replaced (I hear it's a knucklebusting job, so I may just pay them to do it).

Any suggestions are welcome... including "Have you thought about trying xxx yourself instead?"
