Default Colorado Vacation

Gonna be in SW Colorado for a week in the beginning of July! (Dove Creek specifically) and I would like to take a day to hit the San Juan Mountains area and do some wheelin! I know some of those trails stay closed pretty late in the year anyone have any suggestions about what trails will be open that I should hit?

I live a little north of the Juans in Grand Junction, the weather has been above average so far this spring and the snow is going fast. Suggest you stop in Ouray and ask for local intel on the trails when you get here. July is a great time to explore the area and I doubt snow will be much of a problem this year.
