Default Colorado Springs BS/Meetup/Trail Advisory Thread

Looked thru tons of threads and didn't see this already, if it exists then just merge it, not trying to cause any grief.

ANY TRAIL CLOSURES NEAR THE SPRINGS:

Any new or fun places you find:

Any pics from local springs areas, trails, ram offroad park, etc:

See where I am going with this? Lolol
Also trades, bs (of course), and general meetups for riding.

Looking forward to riding with you all!

Cool
I went up there back in December
It was snowy but way passable
And thats with bald tires lol
I plan on hitting it again very soon and would like to go north to monument and then west on mt Herman to balanced rock rd
Seems challenging
Then of course a day at Ram offroad park would be fun
Will pm u my details

Be careful up on Mt Herman...lots of illegal stuff up there, and its hard to tell the difference.

Dan, out of curiousity, why do you need a trailer for CMG? ER is harder, IMHO...

Just wondering...

Yeah I have mapped it thoroughly
As long as you stay on Herman all the way to rampart THEN make a right then another right onto balanced rock, you will be fine.

Trailer to get to cmg, long distance from springs. ER is not far... At least for me, I am on the south side of the springs. I am not really ready for the trail(s) still have a good bit of work to do. At this point mostly gears, and a bunch of time to put on the stuff I have. And maybe just cause I grew up on rampart it's not all that fun anymore. Been on most if not all the spurs... Same with rainbow falls. I am going to be looking to do more like er and cmg, and tin cup ect...

Thanks, it's stuff like that I can't wait for... And independent pass or mosquito pass, anywho stuff like that. Also the Durango and Leadville area too. And the 10th mountain division camp, I heard that it's good there too. And and and.... That's exactly the reason I sold my $20,000 race quad, cause a lot more fun to be had then just CHCA.
