Looked thru tons of threads and didn't see this already, if it exists then just merge it, not trying to cause any grief.

I went up there back in December
It was snowy but way passable
And thats with bald tires lol
I plan on hitting it again very soon and would like to go north to monument and then west on mt Herman to balanced rock rd
Seems challenging
Then of course a day at Ram offroad park would be fun
Will pm u my details
Be careful up on Mt Herman...lots of illegal stuff up there, and its hard to tell the difference.
Dan, out of curiousity, why do you need a trailer for CMG? ER is harder, IMHO...
Just wondering...

As long as you stay on Herman all the way to rampart THEN make a right then another right onto balanced rock, you will be fine.

Trailer to get to cmg, long distance from springs. ER is not far... At least for me, I am on the south side of the springs. I am not really ready for the trail(s) still have a good bit of work to do. At this point mostly gears, and a bunch of time to put on the stuff I have. And maybe just cause I grew up on rampart it's not all that fun anymore. Been on most if not all the spurs... Same with rainbow falls. I am going to be looking to do more like er and cmg, and tin cup ect...
Tin Cup is cake, but very beautiful! I can't get enough of Taylor Park!! I go there at least once a year to camp, and get normal...last year was on my ADV bike....GOOD TIMES!! I camped the first night at the base of Tin Cup, from the TP side, at Mirror Lake....AMAZING!!
