I was going to check them out but their website made it seem that they only sell the mics online...

I was just hoping someone upgraded their stock and had a spare hangin around.

No not everything is online but it is a good way to check prices when your at work...and so far when it comes to getting a CB it appears to be that online is the only way, unless your driving to the outskirts of the city to a truckstop.

I was just checking prices on Radioshack's site to see if I wanted to go get one there, but everything on the site said "online only", same with Walmart. Both sites had the option to order and have it shipped to a local store for pick up, but thats it... And I am not calling Walmart to try and get info... as if I would get someone who knows what I am talking about..

I did however just call a couple Radioshacks and they said they do not carry the CB Mics instore...I'm going to call a local HAM radio store by my house when they open at 10 and if they have 4-pin Ham/CB mics, and if not I guess I'll have to drive out to the Flying J off of I70. Lame....

I purchased all of my CB stuff at either Loves or Flying J. They seem to have the best selection and prices aren't rape.

So I ended up going to Flying J yesterday since I was in the neighborhood....

Purchased a Cobra 4 pin noise canceling Mic.... When I plugged it in my channels locked up... when I took it off or put the broken mic back on they would change.... So I went back in (I tested it before I left) and exchanged it for a regular Cobra 4 pin Mic.... Same damn thing.... So Since both Mics were 30.00 I decided to just exchange it for a whole new Cobra CB for 50.00... I figured Id just spend an extra 20.00 and avoid the head ache...

So no need for a mic because I have a whole new CB w/ Mic....

Guess I'm just going to put the other one back up on Craigs list.

Cant wait to get to try it out on the trail on the 8th & 9th.
